Spearpoint Mesa | 3’3 x 6’10
Spearpoint Mesa feels ceremonial, like a woven standard carried across open land. At its center, a bold medallion anchors the composition, while elongated spearpoint motifs extend outward from either end, creating a strong axial line that reads almost like a compass or protective emblem. In many tribal weavings, arrow and spear forms symbolize protection, direction, strength, and forward movement like a quiet language of guardianship woven directly into the field. Here, those motifs feel deliberate and architectural, giving the rug both symbolism and structure.
The palette carries that same grounded confidence: carmine red framed by deep navy tones, with lighter accents that sharpen the geometry. The wool pile is a soft low pile with a time-softened hand that makes it sturdy, flexible, and beautifully broken in. There is a natural patina throughout that adds depth to the reds and a velvety softness to the darker ground.
A piece that feels both protective and purposeful.
Vintage hand-knotted tribal area rug
3’3 x 6’10 (slightly oblong; opposite side measures approx. 6’7)
Low wool pile with age-softened texture
Carmine red, deep navy, warm neutral accents
Central medallion with extended spear/arrow motifs symbolizing strength and direction
Subtle variation in length from end to end
No. 1581 | Spearpoint Mesa
