Painted Folklore feels like a tale told in little pictures, with something delightful waiting between the lines. Spotted peacocks wander among flowering trees while bold angular forms stack through the center like chapters in a wonderfully curious book. Flashes of turquoise, coral, and warm ochre brighten the deep blue field, giving the whole gathering the charm of a folk painting. Every glance finds another detail to fall for. Place this piece beside a reading chair or in an entry where a little imagination is always welcome.
